Dress For Pocket Mouse

Supplies:
same yarn and hook size you made the Pocket Mouse with
same thread and hook size you made your Micro Mouse with
scissors
yarn needle

Abbreviations:
st = stitch
sc = single crochet
ch = chain
sl st = slip stitch
f/o = finish off

Part One: Dress

Dress:
1) ch15
2) starting in 2nd ch from hook, 1sc in each ch (14) ch1 and turn
3) skip ch, 1sc in next 5st then 2tog twice, 1sc in next 5st (12) ch1 and turn
4) skip ch, 1sc in each (12) ch1 and turn
5) skip ch, 1sc in next 2st then ch3 then sc into the 3rd st from start of ch, 1sc in next 2st, ch3 then sc into 3rd st from start of ch, 1sc in next 2st
f/o leaving a yarn tail for sewing. Once you have added the sleeves and the bottom edge (see instructions below) then sew the back of the dress closed. Weave in yarn tails to hide them.

You can leave the dress as is or you can add sleeves.
Turn dress upside down. Insert hook through the corner of opening for arm, pull yarn through, ch1 then 1sc OR 1hdc in next 3 outer loops, sl st next st and f/o. Knot off the starting yarn tail. Weave in yarn tails.

You can leave dress as is or add a decorative edge along the bottom. Pull yarn through a stitch at the bottom of the dress, ch1 OR ch2 then sc into next st. Repeat that sequence across. f/o and weave in yarn tail.

The red dress has simple sleeves using sc and no edge added at the bottom of the dress.
The blue dress has no sleeves and a white border added using sc
The green dress has hdc's added for sleeves and a ch1 and sc used for the edge at the bottom of the dress.
