Please excuse my little pig, he's feeling shy not having his ears or his snout completely sewn in yet but as soon as he does he'll show himself off like me! I'm not sure yet but I might be getting a vest to wear. If I do, I hope it's a green one. UPDATE! Little Bigfoot Pig pattern and video has been posted.
Did you know there was no plan for me? That's right, my designer had no idea I was going to jump off that ball of yarn like I did but here I am! And I had the good sense to make sure I was written down so I can be made again, yay!
My designer thought I was going to be the revised Little Bigfoot Piggy but nope, I turned out much bigger with big fat cheeks.. I love my cheeks!

You are unbelievably talented! I am so glad to have stumbled on to your impressive portfolio. A dear friend who has collected pigs for many years has just started treatment for cancer and I have been working on my own design for several weeks pretty successfully. She is strongly independent and insists that she attend all of her appointments alone so I wanted to give her a gift that she could take with her to remind her that she is in my thoughts and heart through this difficult period. Your patterns are adorable, well written and extremely appreciated! As soon as my design is finally off my hook, I can't wait to begin yours. None of the patterns / designs that I found fit both my style and her personality, and then you answered both with this duo. Thank you for all of the time and care that you put into each of your designs and videos, your soothing voice and teaching style and always being available to turn to for my personal yarn & hook therapy! Forever grateful!

DeleteAnd I sincerely wish all the best to your friend. I pray that there's fast healing with her treatments. It is very nice of you to make her something to carry in with her, it will bring her happiness and that is the best thing to give someone during times like these.
I'm glad you've been enjoying the patterns, that means a lot!

ReplyDeleteYou knit wonderful toys! I also love to knit toys. I invite you to visit my blog. http://korzinkina.blogspot.ru/
ReplyDeleteI think I am crocheting the big piggy too tightly and would like to know what the measurement of the neck should be. Mine looks like it is going to be too skinny and I just completed row 24. Love this pink piggy
ReplyDeleteno, I don't think so, I crochet fairly tight myself. I wouldn't go by measurement but rather count the stitches. If the stitch count is the same as given in the pattern then it is the correct size. Once you stuff if, it will be fine. Hope that helps :)
ReplyDeleteSharon Do you have the pattern for the little piggy? That's the perfect size for what I need.
ReplyDeleteOh, never mind. I was searching for "piggy". When I just searched for "pig", I found it. Sorry!
ReplyDeleteDon’t be sorry, I was going to link you up once I got on my computer. I’m on my phone which, for some reason, blogger doesn’t recognize me lol but it’s me. Glad you found it. Happy crocheting!
