Finding Your Way Around Amigurumi To Go

Hey everyone! It's a beautiful sunny morning in my part of Canada. I hope wherever you are the weather is being kind to you too :)

I thought I'd take a moment and explain how to find

patterns here on my site, I know that many of you who are used to blogs can find them no problem but  some people who are new to this type of website have a harder time trying to figure it out. So I hope to clear that up right here!

One the right hand side of this page, this one you are reading, you just need to scroll down a bit to see the label list called  "Free Patterns". This list are posts that have been tagged with certain key words. If you see something you're interested in just click on one of those labels and see what's there. The number of posts with that keyword is in parentheses beside each label. When you click on those links, the posts come up newest to oldest. Click on the *older posts* link at the bottom of the page to get to the next page of posts

I also have a page called:

  • Crochet 101 & Other Tid Bits and it looks like this:

Click on that Cat picture to find a page of helpful video tutorials such as, "How to Make Fingers" or "How to Crochet 2 stitches Together". Those links will take you to my youtube channel.

And the Connect With Me picture that looks like this:

There is a series of social media buttons listed there such as Twitter, facebook, flickr and so on. Just click one that you're interested in finding me on or click them all, I'm always happy to find new friends so don't hesitate to contact me on any site I have listed. You will also find links to my other blogs listed on that page.

Print Friendly Pages!
Yes there is a print friendly button and it's located at the bottom of each pattern, normally located just under "Happy Crocheting". Once you click the print friendly button look at the top of the window that pops up, there you'll see options to print, turn into a PDF, remove images and so on. I like the option to remove images since it saves on ink! I don't like the PDF option so much as it doesn't always look right and the images will not line up with the instructions BUT I am in the process of having PDFs available for each pattern and do have a few available. Just look for the PDF link inside a pattern page, I'll have it listed just above the start of the pattern instructions.

I hope this has helped and never hesitate to leave a comment if there's anything else I can help with.

Happy Crocheting!!
