Miniature Thread Totoro Free Crochet Pattern

A tiny Totoro... so tiny he fits on your thumbnail. You can make one too using thread and this free pattern....

I made this tiny Totoro using my own free pattern. The only thing I did different was the ears which are a bit bigger. It was a little more difficult to sew the pieces together but that is to be expected on these tiny ones.

1) magic circle (6)
2) 1sc in each st
1sc in next 2st then 2sc in next st (8)
4) 1sc in each st

I used acrylic punch embroidery thread and a 0.75 mm steel hook for all pieces.

I dabbed the eyes on with white craft paint using a toothpick and dotted in pupils with a black pen once the paint was dry.
The mouth I sewed on with regular black sewing thread.
