same hook size you used to make your Little Bigfoot with.
blunt end yarn needle for sewing

something to close up the back of the shirt. You could use buttons, snaps, velcro, or crochet a couple chains and sew those in. The choice is yours.

Abbreviations:
st = stitch
sc = single crochet
ch = chain
sl st = slip stitch
f/o = finish off

Shirt:
1) ch26 - if you want to use a button for closing the shirt then begin with a long starting yarn tail that you will make into a loop (photos below).
2) starting in the 2nd ch from the hook, 1sc in each ch (25) ch1 and turn
3) skip ch, 1sc in next 4st then 2sc in next st (30) ch1 and turn
4) skip ch, 1sc in next 5st then 2sc in next st (35) ch1 and turn
5) skip ch, 1sc in next 4st then 2sc in next st (42) ch1 and turn
6) skip ch, 1sc in next 5st then 2sc in next st (49) ch1 and turn
7) skip ch, 1sc in next 6st then 2sc in next st (56) ch1 and turn
8-11) 1sc in each st for 4 rows - ch1 and turn at the end of each row and skip ch at the start of each row. (56) At the end of row 11 ch2 and turn
12) skip ch, 1sc then ch2 and 1sc in next st then sl st next 2st, repeat sequence across to the end of the row. ch2, 1sc, ch2, 1sc, sl st next 2st
f/o and weave in yarn tail

Straps:
make 2
1) ch12 - begin with a long starting tail. You will use this to sew one end to the shirt
2) starting in the 2nd ch from the hook, 1sc in each ch (11) ch3 and turn
3) skip ch, 1sc then sl st next st. Repeat sequence across. ch3, 1sc, sl st next st
f/o leaving a long tail for sewing

Pocket: Optional
1) ch11
2) starting in the 2nd ch from the hook, 1sc in each ch (10) ch1 and turn
3-7) 1sc in each st for 5 rows - ch1 and turn at the end of each row and skip ch at the start of each row. f/o leaving a long tail for sewing

Button Closure:
Sew button to the top corner of shirt. Make a loop with the starting yarn tail, sew the end in place, knot off then weave in.

Put the shirt on the doll and take note where the straps should go. Sew each end in place as pictured.
The ends are sewn on the outside of the shirt.

Another option for closing up the back is crochet 2 chains, any length, sew one to each side. Look at the photo, I sewed one chain a little away from the edge and the other one close to the edge. This way the shirt has to overlap a bit when you tie up the chains.

If you chose to make the pocket, sew as pictured to the front and center of the shirt. Sew the bottom and 2 sides leaving the top open to make a pocket.

Pants:

The pants are the same pattern used to make the overalls. Go here, make only the pants part, skip the straps and front panel.

Donations of any size are greatly appreciated and help keep the patterns free.
