Bumble the Snow Monster Amigurumi WIP

Last night I was working on a video tutorial for the Wild Thing and I got so so tired and decided to call it a night. I crawl into bed but all my yarn is still there... (haha it happens a lot) next thing I knew I was crocheting away and by 3am this morning I had Bumble almost completely done...I just need to finish his face and add in teeth but so much for calling it a night!
I definitely have OCD (Obsessive Crocheting Disorder)
Bumble is a project I've wanted to do since forever! He's one of my favorite characters of all time. Dad and I watched the movie "Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer" every year together the whole time I was growing up and living in my parents house.. then I grew up had kids and now my kids and I watch every year together. It's a family tradition!

So I've long wanted to make a Bumble that we can keep in the family.. I'm really happy with how he turned out. And look at those feet, I think I might have an
amigurumi foot fetish now, lol his feet pivot so I can make him look like he's walking. And I love those toes. Of course I'll add some toenails. A monster has to have toenails!

But I'll put him away for now and get back to the Wild Thing I promised!

** I won't make promises on posting a pattern for Bumble as I'm backed right up with projects that are long over due and he has many little parts that would be exhausting to explain in written form. He'd def need a video tutorial so it won't be anytime soon.

Thanks for stopping by and be sure to check out the many free patterns I have available!

  9. Love this!! Did you happen to post up the tutorial yet and I'm possibly not finding it on your page?? :) you're site is wonderful. I found you on YouTube. I've picked up crochet again since the recent passing of my brother. It's been therapeutic to me. I'm new to amigurumi... I've started your bear and am recalling loving it. Bumble holds a special place in my memories like everyone else I'm sure. Brings back memories of my childhood sitting in front of the TV watching these movies. :) anyway... thank you so much for your tutorials.
