Here is the diaper pattern for the Little Bigfoot Baby. This was a little bit of a challenge but finally got it! I used a 3.75mm hook and 4ply knitting yarn. I think worsted weight would work but it would be bulky.
Ch 1 = chain 1
dc = double crochet
sc = single crochet
sl st = slip stitch
f/o = finish off
1) ch 16
2) starting with the 3rd ch from the hook, dc in next 4 ch, sc in next 6 ch, dc in last 4 ch
3-7) ch1 turn, starting with the 2nd ch from the hook, repeat row 2 for 5 rows. Remember to ch1 and turn at the end of every row and always start with the 2nd ch from the hook
8) once you get to the end of row 7, ch 8 and starting with the 2nd ch from the hook sc across the chain and then continue on to sc across the top edge of the diaper, once at the end ch 8, starting with the 2nd ch from the hook sc across the ch then sl st into a st on the diaper and f/o, leave a long tail foe sewing.
fold the diaper and sew the 2 flaps across the front as pictured.
